Privacy Policy
This page describes what Kronot collects about you, why, and who else is involved. It describes what the site actually does, not what it might do one day.

What we collect
When you buy something: your name, your email address, and the country you selected. Alongside that we store what you bought, what you paid, the time of the order, and how many times each file has been downloaded.
We never see your card details. Payment happens entirely on our payment provider's systems. They tell us that an order was paid; they do not give us your card number, and we could not store it if we wanted to.
When you just browse: nothing that identifies you, and no cookies at all. We measure how many people visit and how quickly pages load, using Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. Neither stores anything on your device, neither can follow you to another website, and neither is used for advertising. Visitor counts are worked out from a value that is scrambled and reset every day, so even we cannot tell whether today's visitor came yesterday.
Our hosting provider also keeps short-lived server logs containing IP addresses, as any web server does, to serve the site and absorb attacks.
Why we hold it, and for how long
- To deliver what you bought — your email is how the download link reaches you, and the order record is what lets us reissue it if you lose it. Kept while the store operates.
- To meet tax and accounting obligations — sales records have to be retained for as long as the law requires, regardless of what either of us would prefer.
- To stop abuse — download counts exist so one purchase is not shared with a thousand people.
We do not build profiles, we do not send marketing unless you have separately asked for it, and we have never sold data to anyone and will not start.
Who else processes it
Running a shop means using other companies. These are all of them:
- Our payment provider — takes payment as merchant of record. They receive your name, email, country and payment details directly from you, and hold them under their own privacy policy.
- Supabase — the database and the file storage, hosted in Frankfurt, Germany. This is where your order record lives.
- Vercel — hosts and serves the site, and provides the cookieless visitor and page-speed measurements described above. Requests may be processed on servers in the European Union and the United States.
- Resend — sends the delivery email, from servers in Ireland. They receive your email address and the contents of the message. Link and open tracking are switched off, so we do not know whether you opened it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@kronot.co and we will act within 30 days.
One honest limit on deletion: we cannot erase a sales record we are legally required to keep for tax purposes. We can delete everything else, and we will tell you exactly what was kept and why. Deleting your order record also destroys your download access — we will warn you before doing it.
If you are in the EU or the UK and think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. We would rather you told us first.
Children
This shop is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If what we do with data changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the bottom will tell you when.
